Is there a free trial?
No — Trade Journal AI doesn't offer a free trial. Your card is charged at signup ($19.95/mo or $195/yr) and your first paid charge is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. How many users do you have?
Trade Journal AI is in public beta — we're early on purpose, and we'd rather be upfront about that than fabricate numbers. The founder uses the product daily as his own trading journal. What's the difference between Monthly and Annual?
Same product, same features. Monthly is $19.95 charged every month. Annual is $195 charged once per year — that works out to $16.25/month, or about $44.40 saved per year vs paying monthly.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing at any time and keep access through the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees, no contracts, no questions.
What's the refund policy?
14-day money-back guarantee on every plan. If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days, email support@tradejournal.ai for a full refund — no questions, no forms.
What happens to my trade data if I cancel?
Your account is kept in read-only mode for 90 days after cancellation so you can export your trade history (CSV, JSON) on your timeline. After 90 days the data is purged. You can also export at any time before canceling.
Do I pay extra for the AI Coach or specific broker integrations?
No. Every feature is included at the same $19.95/$195 price — the AI Coach, every broker integration (Bitunix and Hyperliquid live; Binance, Bybit, and OKX in beta; more as we ship them), TradingView Pine Scripts, every dashboard widget. The optional $9.95/mo Unlimited AI add-on exists for traders who outgrow the fair-use cap, and BYOK is available if you want to bring your own Anthropic key. Otherwise, what you sign up for is what you get.
Is the AI Coach metered or unlimited?
The AI Coach has a generous daily usage cap that covers normal trader use. Annual subscribers get 3× the daily cap. If you hit the cap, you can either wait for the next day's reset or opt into the optional Unlimited AI add-on ($9.95/month). You can also bring your own API key (BYOK) for unlimited use at your own metered cost.
How are my API keys and sensitive data stored?
Broker API keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and decrypted only at the moment of each sync. They're never returned to your browser, never logged in plaintext, and can be removed in one click. We require read-only keys — they can pull positions and balance but cannot place trades or move funds.
Do you offer team or multi-account plans?
